At AIDS Community Services, the New Year means exciting new special events just around the corner. Handbag Happy Hour will be a one of a kind cocktail event showcasing designer, celebrity, distinctive and “previously loved” purses that will be auctioned off to trendy divas from throughout Western New York. Handbags from Susan Lucci from All My Children and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have already come in, and trendy clutches, luggage and totes have been donated by local shops such as Modern Nostalgia and Clutch in the Allentown area. Evergreen Center Update

Work continues throughout the Evergreen Center! The exterior upgrades are done, including fresh paint on the trim and a new wind shelter at the back entrance. Now workers are giving the lobby a brand new paint job and putting the finishing touches on the Wellness Center. They're also installing new efficient light bulbs throughout the building that will result in energy savings of more than $6000 each year.
