Big Changes at Evergreen!

The dust is flying once again at the Evergreen Center! Construction crews are busy at work transforming the building's large open lobby into a more comfortable waiting/reception area for the rapid testing program as well as expanded conference space for Evergreen Health Services. Work is also progressing on the new Evergreen Pharmacy, an exciting new service that will be a great convenience for our clients. Watch this space for updates!

Alianza Latina hosted a Zumba Happy Hour Party to mark National Women & Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day at the Pucho Community Center in Buffalo. The event featured information tables, HIV testing, refreshments, music, prizes, and of course, Zumba!

Bye Bye Winter!

AIDS Community Services, the Imperial Court of Buffalo and Jamestown's Skybar teamed up to Kick the Winter Bye Bye on Saturday night. The event featured food, fun and a great show, all to raise funds and awareness for the fight against HIV and AIDS in the Southern Tier. Special thanks to Manolo Nieves and AIDS Community Services Outreach Coordinator Richard Baer for putting the event together, and to Skybar for generously donating all proceeds from the event to ACS.

The Evergreen Association held its Annual Meeting and Awards reception on Wednesday night, honoring and thanking those in the community who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and generosity in the fight against AIDS in Western New York over the past year. Congratulations and thank you to this year's honorees!
